CONSENT CALENDAR: 1. HEIGHT VARIATION AND GRADING PERMIT (CASE NO. ZON2009-00156): 15 Headland Drive / Tomaro Architecture (SK) Request: A request to demolish an existing single-story residence, conduct 1,377yd³ of grading and construct a new 24’-3” tall, 9,986ft² two-story residence. Action Deadline: October 16, 2009 Recommendation: Adopt P.C. Resolution No. 2009-__, thereby approving the Height Variation, Grading Permit and Site Plan Review application (ZON2009-00156). CONTINUED BUSINESS: 2. HEIGHT VARIATION AND MINOR EXCEPTION PERMIT (CASE NO. ZON2009-00048): 28614 Mount Hood Court / Bilan (LM) Request: A request to construct a new 50 square foot first story addition and a new 1,289 square foot second story addition to an existing single-story residence. The residence will result in an overall height of 23’-9”. A Minor Exception Permit is required to maintain the existing 4’-9” non-conforming south side yard setback. Action Deadline: October 22, 2009 Recommendation: Adopt P.C. Resolution No. 2009-__; thereby approving a Height Variation and Minor Exception Permit (Case No. ZON2009-00048). (This item was continued from the August 25 and September 22, 2009 Planning Commission meetings) 3. RESIDENTIAL DEVELOPMENT STANDARDS CODE AMENDMENT AND ZONE CHANGE (CASE NO. ZON2007-00377): Citywide / City (KF) Request: A request to amend the City’s Zoning Code to implement the recommendations of the City’s Residential Development Standards Steering Committee, and other miscellaneous Zoning Code “clean-up” amendments. Action Deadline: None Recommendation: Review and provide direction regarding Residential Development Standards Steering Committee recommendations regarding minor structures and miscellaneous development provisions; receive a brief preview of upcoming Staff-recommended “clean-up” and other amendments for future discussion; and continue the public hearing in this matter to November 10, 2009. (This item was continued from the November 13, 2007, February 12, March 11, April 8, May 13, June 10, July 8, and July 22, 2008 and September 8, 2009 Planning Commission meetings) PUBLIC HEARINGS: 4. VARIANCE PERMIT (CASE NO.
