GUIDELINES TO UNDERGROUNDING UTILITIES IN RESIDENTIAL NEIGHBORHOODS

Few improvements enhance the appearance of a neighborhood as much as removing overhead utility wires and poles. However, the process of removing these facilities is costly and complex. Moreover, public funds are not available to pay for these improvements. The City of Rancho Palos Verdes has developed guidelines to assist neighborhoods through the process of utility undergrounding.
