"Supporting the Preservation of Public Land in Rancho Palos Verdes for
General Public Use and Open Space"

1 = Point Vicente Park

2 = Los Verdes Golf Course

3 = Long Point Development

WE won! WE won! WE won!

And the emphasis is on WE!

All of you who picked up our last minute (11:30 A.M. Monday) e-mail, responded, and came out to the meeting tonight; all of you who have faithfully turned out at meeting after meeting; all of you who have written letters to the City Council and the newspapers; all of you who have carried petitions -- ALL OF US WON TONIGHT!

There was no opposition to Peter Gardiner's motion, and Marilyn Lyon's second, that the public land be preserved in its entirety, as a PARK!  (There was more to the motion but THIS WAS THE IMPORTANT PART!)

If you didn't see the Council meeting, catch the rerun and have your own private celebration.

Our special thanks to Peter Gardiner, Doug Stern and John McTaggart who carried the ball tonight.

We will have a BIG PICNIC FOR ALL OF US TO CELEBRATE SOON!

THANKS FOR BEING PART OF THE "WE"!
