Introduction
The
Treble Makers is a women's barbershop chorus founded 27 years ago here
in the South Bay. We have been planning, rehearsing, and taping ourselves
to get ready for the BIG audio and
video-taping session on July 19th at the PV on the Internet Computer Technology
Center located on the grounds of Rancho Palos Verdes City Hall.
Below, you will be able to
hear a sample of harmonious melodies, see
a picture of our group of gals and our talented
director Grant Sevdayan, and read about our
weekly rehearsals and upcoming performances.
Listen to Some of Our
Songs!
Mississippi Mud
A Little Tune
Alexander's Rag Time Band
Mood Indigo
The audio files were saved to 28.8 modem speed which reduces the quality significantly, but reduces the download time greatly for modems.
These live performances were recorded in digital audio format at PV on the NET Computer Technology Center using Sound Forge. This porject allowed several of our Interns to experience a live recording session and to learn the basics of live recording, including - microphone placement, setting levels, setting up the digital recording software, audio editing, compression, and reverb. The audio files were then converted to Real Audio format and included in this web page with a hyperlink.
This web page was designed by the Interns at Palos Verdes on the NET Computer
Technology Center which provides education through community service. Please feel free to contact us so that we may provide your group or organization with a wide range of technology based services.
