BFI Online: City of Hermosa Beach Residential Recycling Collection Service

BFI collects recylcable materials once each week on trash collection day. BFI provides you with one 18-gallon bin to be placed next to your trash containers. If your recyclable materials will not fit in this bin, you are incouraged to use a 32-gallon bin marked RECYCLING.

Acceptable Recyclables
Paper Newspaper,  Phone books	Plastic containers marked  #1(PET)  and #2 (HDPE)
Glass  Food jars and beverage bottles (all colors)	Cans Aluminum beverage containers; Tin, steel and bi-metal cans

BFI will collect used oil in clear one-gallon jugs on your trash and recycling collection day.  The empty containers will be disposed in the trash. Place your containers on the curb next to your trash cans or recycling bin.

One gallon of motor oil can pollute a million gallons of water.
