CRIME SUMMARY

Crimes reported this past week in the City of Rancho Palos Verdes included

one school burglary, one vehicle burglary, one attempt grand theft (auto), one grand theft, four petty thefts, two mail thefts and two acts of vandalism.

ARRESTS

September 17

School Burglary (weekend) - Person(s) unknown stole numerous plants and

trees from a school in the 28000 block of Montereina Drive. There was no sign of forced entry.

September 20

Vehicle Burglary (overnight) - Person(s) unknown broke a window and stole a

backpack from a car in the 2000 block of Elberon Street.

Attempt Grand Theft (auto) (nighttime) - Two male suspects forced a window

open and attempted to steal a 1966 Volkswagon from a driveway of a home in the 1200 block of Bloomwood Road. The suspects were scared off after waking the residents of the home.

September 21

Grand Theft (daytime) - Person(s) unknown stole a lawnmower from a driveway

in the 5900 block of Armaga Springs Road.
