CRIME SUMMARY

Crimes reported this past week in the City of Rancho Palos Verdes

included one residential burglary, five vehicle burglaries, one

attempted grand theft, auto, three petty thefts, and four acts of

vandalism.

ARRESTS

Narcotics Laws - 3 Drunk - 1

November 24

Vehicle Burglary (daytime) - Person(s) unknown broke the window of a

car parked in the 30300 block of Hawthorne Boulevard and stole a purse.

November 25

Vehicle Burglary - Person (s) unknown stole stereo speakers from a car

in the 27700 block of Hawthorne Boulevard. There was no sign of forced

entry.

Attempted Grand Theft, Auto (daytime) - Person(s) unknown entered and

moved a victim's car from his driveway to a neighbor's driveway in the

2000 block of Nobleview Drive.

November 27

Residential Burglary (daytime) - A male suspect was discovered in a

storage room of a residence on Cinnamon Drive by the female victim.

Entry was made through a window in the storage room.

November 28

Vehicle Burglary (nighttime) - The lock of a car door was broken by

person(s) unknown in the 27700 block of Hawthorne Boulevard. U.S.

currency and a jacket were taken from the car.

November 29

Vehicle Burglary (nighttime) - Person (s) unknown stole a cellular

phone, clothing, and a coin purse from a car parked in a subterranean

garage in the 5900 block of Armaga Springs Road. There were no signs

of forced entry.

Vehicle Burglary (daytime) - The passenger side window of a car parked

in the 30500 block of Hawthorne Boulevard was smashed by person(s)

unknown. A women's purse was stolen.
