CRIME SUMMARY

Crimes reported this past week in the City of Rancho Palos Verdes included eight residential burglaries, three vehicle burglaries, one other structure burglary, one felonious assault, one grand theft, auto, four grand thefts, four petty thefts and nine acts of vandalism.

ARRESTS

Vehicle Laws - 1

November 4

Grand Theft (nighttime) - A ring and earrings were stolen by person(s) unknown from a residence in the 28400 block of Ridgehaven Court. There

was no sign of forced entry.

November 5

Grand Theft, Auto (nighttime) - A 1985 Lincoln was stolen from the 27000 block of Silvermoon Lane.

Vehicle Burglary (nighttime) - A cellular phone, a battery and a power cord were stolen from a vehicle parked in the 2800 block of Bronco Drive. There was no sign of forced entry.

Residential Burglary (nighttime) - A mountain bike, a helmet and a guitar effects were stolen from a garage in the 6800 block of Abbotswood Drive by person(s) unknown. There was no sign of forced entry.

Grand Theft -(daytime) - A suspect used a bad check to pay for a computer in the 30700 block of Rue de la Pierre.

November 6

Vehicle Burglary (nighttime) - A firearm, a cellular phone and a CB radio were stolen from a car in the 28500 block of Plainfield Drive. There were no signs of forced entry.

Vehicle Burglary (daytime) - A wallet, U.S. currency and a cellular telephone were stolen from a vehicle parked in the 30800 block of Palos Verdes Drive East by person(s) unknown. There was no sign of forced entry.

Grand Theft - A resident in the 30700 block of Rue de la Pierre lost $1400.00 in a false investment scam.

November 7

Residential Burglary (nighttime) - A power drill was stolen from a garage in the 26800 block of Diamond Head Lane by person(s) unknown. There was no sign of forced entry.

Residential Burglary (nighttime) - Person(s) unknown stole a cellular phone, a briefcase and a purse from a residence in the 28000 block of Golden Meadow Drive. There was no sign of forced entry.

Residential Burglary (nighttime) - A set of car keys was taken from an unlocked vehicle parked in a garage in the 27800 block of Longhill Drive by person(s) unknown. There was no sign of forced entry.

Residential Burglary (nighttime)- Person (s) unknown entered an unlocked car in a garage in the 5000 block of Delacroix Road and stole a remote door opener. There was no sign of forced entry.

Grand Theft (nighttime) - A cellular phone was stolen from an unlocked car parked in a driveway in the 5000 block of Delacroix Road by person(s) unknown.

Residential Burglary - A cellular phone and a briefcase were stolen from a vehicle in a garage in the 28100 block of Golden Meadow Drive by person(s) unknown. There was no sign of forced entry.

Residential Burglary (nighttime) - Person (s) unknown stole a wallet, a

garage door opener and cassette tapes from an unlocked car in a garage in the 6500 block of Monero Drive. There was no sign of forced entry.

November 8

Felonious Assault (nighttime) - A male victim was struck with an unknown object by several male suspects at a bar in the 28900 block of Western Avenue.

Other Structure Burglary (nighttime) - Two cameras, a cellular phone, and a briefcase were stolen from an unlocked car in a detached garage in the 4500 block of Maine Road. There was no sign of forced entry.

November 9

Residential Burglary (nighttime) - A handgun and a computer were stolen

from the garage of a home in the 1900 block of Avenida Apprenda. The suspect (s) then entered the house and stole a purse from a table. There was no sign of forced entry.
