CRIME SUMMARY
Crimes reported this past week in the City of
Rancho Palos Verdes included four residential burglaries, one
school burglary, two vehicle burglaries, two grand thefts, auto,
two grand thefts, seven petty thefts and three acts of vandalism.

October 20
Residential Burglary (nighttime)- Person (s) unknown
stole a woman's purse and U.S. coins from a home in the 27400
block of Elmbridge Drive. Entry was gained through an improperly
locked door.
October 21
School Burglary - The informant advised that over
the weekend person (s) unknown pried a door open and stole a set
of keys and a walkie-talkie.
Grand Theft - Person (s) unknown stole electrical
wire from a field in the 6600 block of Palos Verdes Drive South.
Residential Burglary (daytime)- Unknown suspect (s)
forced open a safe in a home in the 2100 block of Gaucho Drive
and stole miscellaneous jewelry. Entry was gained by prying open
a window.
October 22
Grand Theft - Person (s) unknown stole golf clubs
and equipment from a locker at the golf course in the 7000 block
of Los Verdes Drive. There was no sign of forced entry into the
locker.
October 23
Grand Theft, Auto (nighttime)- A 1991 Nissan 240sx was stolen from
a parking lot in the 28900 block of Western Avenue.
October 24
Residential Burglary (nighttime)- Person (s) unknown
stole tools from a garage and a wallet from the counter in a home
in the 7000 block of Hedgewood Drive. There was no sign of forced
entry.
Vehicle Burglary (nighttime)- A car stereo was stolen from a car in the
2700 block of Calle Aventura. Entry was gained by
breaking a window.
Grand Theft, Auto (nighttime)- A 1995 GMC van was
stolen from Pontevedra Drive and Delasonde Drive. The vehicle
was recovered a short distance away.
October 25
Vehicle Burglary (nighttime)- Person (s) unknown stole a car stereo
from a car in the 28100 block of Peacock Ridge Road. There was no sign
of forced entry.
Residential Burglary - Person (s) unknown stole bathroom
fixtures, light fixtures and pool equipment from a home in the
2800 block of Colt Road.
