CRIME SUMMARY
Crimes reported this past week in the City of Rancho Palos
Verdes included one armed robbery, one commercial burglary,
eight residential burglaries, one school burglary, one other
structure burglary, one felonious assault, one grand theft,
one mail theft, one attempted mail theft, and one act of
vandalism.

November 24
Other Structure Burglary (overnight) - Person(s) unknown
stole numerous items from a mobile trailer in the 6100 block
of Crest Road. Entry was gained by breaking a window.
School Burglary (weekend) - Person(s) unknown stole
electronic equipment from a school in the 1900 block of
Summerland Street. There was no sign of forced entry.
Residential Burglary (weekend) - Person(s) unknown entered an
unlocked garage and pried open an inside door to a home in
the 26500 block of Deepbrook Drive. Nothing appeared to have
been taken.
Residential Burglary (nighttime) - Three male suspects forced
open an outside garage door and pried open an inside door to
a home in the 2900 block of Crownview Drive and stole a
cellular phone.
November 25
Grand Theft - Person(s) unknown stole a watch from an
apartment in the 281000 block of Peacock Ridge Road. There
was no sign of forced entry.
Residential Burglary (overnight) - Person(s) unknown pried
open a sliding glass door of a home in the 26700 block of
Hawkhurst Drive and stole jewelry.
November 26
Residential Burglary - Person(s) unknown forced a garage door
open, kicked in an interior door, and entered a home in the
3100 block of Crownview drive. The house was ransacked and
it was unknown if anything was taken.
Commercial Burglary (daytime) - Two male suspects used a
stolen credit card to purchase items from a store in the
28900 block of Western Avenue.
Armed Robbery (nighttime) - Two male suspects, armed with
handguns, surprised a female victim as she exited her vehicle
in the garage of her home in the 30300 block of Avenida De
Calma. The victim and three other victims inside were bound
with tape and a watch and U.S. currency were stolen.
November 27
Felonious Assault (daytime) - A male suspect was arrested
after stabbing a male victim with an ice pick in the 29600
block of Western Avenue.
November 28
Residential Burglary - The victim reported that within the
last month, person(s) unknown had stolen silverware and a
serving dish from her home in the 5400 block of Whitefox
Drive. There was no sign of forced entry.
Residential Burglary - Person(s) unknown stole a laptop
computer from a home in the 4100 block of Miraleste Drive.
Entry was gained by burning through a window frame and
removing the glass.
Residential Burglary (overnight) - Person(s) unknown pried
open a sliding glass door of a home in the 5300 block of
Bayridge Road and stole U.S. currency.
November 29
Residential Burglary (overnight) - A male suspect and a
female suspect removed a window slat and unlocked a door to
gain entry to a home in the 2300 block of Colt Road. A
portable stereo and U.S. currency were stolen.
