CRIME SUMMARY
Crimes reported this past week in the City of Rancho Palos
Verdes included four residential burglaries, two vehicle
burglaries, one other structure burglary, two grand thefts,
auto, one grand theft, one petty theft, and three acts of
vandalism.

November 16
Residential Burglary - The victim reported that between
September 27 and October 5, 1997, person(s) unknown stole
jewelry from his home in the 6900 block of Alta Vista Drive.
Grand Theft - The victim reported that between November 8 and
November 9, 1997, person(s) unknown stole jewelry from his
home on Seacove Drive.
November 17
Residential Burglary (evening) - Four male suspects broke a
window of a home in the 2000 block of Crestwood Street and
stole electronic equipment.
Vehicle Burglary - Person(s) unknown forced a window open of
a car in a parking lot in the 29300 block of Palos Verdes
Drive East and stole a cellular phone.
November 20
Vehicle Burglary (daytime) - Person(s) unknown broke a window
and stole a CD player and radar detector from a vehicle in
the 26800 block of Silver Spur Road.
Grand Theft, Auto (overnight) - A 1988 Cadillac Coup De Ville
was stolen from the 6500 block of Beachview Drive.
November 21
Residential Burglary (daytime) - Person(s) unknown pried a
sliding glass door open and stole a computer system and VCR
from a home in the 31000 block of Ganado Drive.
Residential Burglary (daytime) - Person(s) unknown kicked a
door open and stole a handgun and U.S. currency from a home
in the 28500 block of Vista Madera.
Grand Theft, Auto (overnight) - A 1996 Chevrolet pickup was
stolen from the 6800 block of Los Verdes Drive.
Other Structure Burglary - The victim reported that between
November 16 and November 19, 1997, person(s) unknown stole
numerous items from an open garage in the 28900 block of
Sprucegrove Drive.
