CRIME SUMMARY
Crimes reported this past week in the City of Rancho Palos
Verdes included one school burglary, one attempted school
burglary, three residential burglaries, four vehicle
burglaries, one felonious assault, two grand thefts, auto,
one grand theft, and four acts of vandalism.

November 9
School Burglary (overnight) - Person(s) unknown forced a
window open and stole numerous items from a pre-school in the
6200 block of Via Canada.
Attempted School Burglary (overnight) - Person(s) unknown
attempted to enter the window of a classroom of a school in
the 6200 block of Via Canada and set off an audible alarm.
Vehicle Burglary (daytime) - Person(s) unknown broke a window
of a car at Crenshaw Boulevard and Crestridge Road. A tote
bag was stolen.
November 10
Grand Theft, Auto (morning) - A male suspect was arrested
after prying open a door of a pickup truck in the 1900 block
of Avenida Feliciano and then driving away in a vehicle
stolen earlier from Long Beach.
Residential Burglary (daytime) - Person(s) unknown stole
numerous items of electronic equipment from a home in the
6600 block of Via La Paloma. Entry was gained by breaking a
window.
Grand Theft, Auto (morning) - A 1988 GMC pickup truck was
stolen from the 1400 block of Caddington Drive.
November 13
Vehicle Burglary (overnight) - Person(s) unknown broke a
window and entered a car in the 28100 block of Highridge
Road. It was unknown if anything was stolen.
Residential Burglary (daytime) - Person(s) unknown stole
jewelry from a home on Packet Road. There was no sign of
forced entry.
November 14
Vehicle Burglary (daytime) - Person(s) unknown broke a window
of a car in the 28000 block Montereina Drive and stole
clothing.
Felonious Assault (daytime) - Two male subjects were arrested
after punching and kicking a male victim at a school in the
28000 block of Montereina Drive.
Grand Theft (daytime) - The victim reported that person(s)
unknown stole her purse from a cart while she was shopping at
a store in the 30000 block of Hawthorne Boulevard.
Residential Burglary (daytime) - Person(s) unknown removed
window panes of a door and stole jewelry from a home in the
6500 block of Nancy Road.
November 15
Vehicle Burglary (overnight) - Person(s) unknown stole a key
from a locked vehicle in the 26600 block of Deepbrook Drive.
There was no sign of forced entry.
