CRIME SUMMARY

 

Crimes reported this past week in the City of Rancho Palos

Verdes included one armed robbery, seven residential

burglaries, two vehicle burglaries, two felonious assaults,

one grand theft, auto, two grand thefts, two petty thefts,

four acts of vandalism.

 

 

ARRESTS

 

Vehicle Laws - 2 Burglary - 1

 

 

September 21

 

Grand Theft (overnight) - Person(s) unknown stole a CD

changer and a backpack from an unlocked vehicle on Stirrup

Road.

 

September 22

 

Vehicle Burglary (overnight) - Person(s) unknown stole a car

stereo and bowling equipment from a locked car in the 29900

block of Knoll View Drive. There was no sign of forced

entry.

 

Armed Robbery (nighttime) - A male suspect, armed with a

handgun, forced employees of a business in the 28900 block

Western Avenue to give him U.S. currency.

 

September 23

 

Residential Burglary (daytime) - Person(s) unknown entered a

home in the 5000 block of Blackhorse Road and ransacked three

bedrooms. Entry was made through an open 2nd story window,

using a nearby ladder. It was unknown if anything was

stolen.

 

September 24

 

Residential Burglary (daytime) - Person(s) unknown kicked in

the door of an apartment in the 28100 block of Peacock Ridge

Drive and stole jewelry.

 

Residential Burglary (daytime) - Person(s) unknown kicked in

the door of an apartment in the 28100 block of Peacock Ridge

Drive and stole jewelry.

 

Vehicle Burglary - person(s) unknown stole a car stereo from

a car in the 32600 block of Nantasket Drive. Entry was made

by smashing the rear passenger side window.

 

September 25

 

Residential Burglary (daytime) - Person(s) unknown stole a

bicycle from an open garage in the 1200 block of Mount Rainer

Road.

 

Felonious Assault (daytime) - A female subject punched and

kicked a female victim at a school in the 28000 block of

Montereina Drive.

 

September 26

 

Grand Theft (morning) - A male employee(suspect) was arrested

after stealing cartons of cigarettes from a store in the

28500 block of Western Avenue.

 

Residential Burglary (daytime) - Person(s) unknown stole a

ring and a laptop computer from a condominium in the 1800

block of Caddington Drive. There was no sign of forced

entry.

 

Residential Burglary (daytime) - Two male suspects stole

jewelry and handguns from a home in the 5600 block of Sunmist

Drive. Entry was gained by using a nearby ladder to enter an

unlocked door.

 

Grand Theft, Auto - A 1995 Honda Accord was stolen from a

driveway in the 1800 block of Trudie Drive.

 

Residential Burglary (daytime) - Person(s) unknown removed a

window screen and stole a computer from a home in the 5600

block of Sunmist Drive.

 

Felonious Assault (daytime) - Three male subjects punched and

kicked a male victim at a school in the 28000 block of

Montereina Drive.
