CRIME SUMMARY
Crimes reported this past week in the City of Rancho Palos
Verdes included five residential burglaries, two vehicle
burglaries, one other structure burglary, three grand thefts,
auto, and two petty thefts.
ARRESTS
Vehicle Laws - 2 Burglary - 1
September 16
Residential Burglary (overnight) - A male suspect was
arrested after breaking into a home on Seacove Drive. The
suspect was found asleep inside the residence.
Residential Burglary (morning) - Person(s) unknown stole
jewelry and clothing from a home in the 6400 block Le Blanc
Place. There was no sign of forced entry.
Residential Burglary (daytime) - Person(s) unknown stole two
sets of golf clubs from the garage of a home in the 4000
block of Palos Verdes Drive South. There was no sign of
forced entry.
September 18
Grand Theft, Auto (nighttime) - A 1987 Chevrolet El Camino
was stolen from a driveway in the 1800 block of Avenida
Feliciano.
Residential Burglary (daytime) - Person(s) unknown stole U.S.
currency and ransacked an apartment in the 28100 block of
Highridge Road. There was no sign of forced entry.
Residential Burglary (daytime) - Person(s) unknown stole
jewelry and ransacked an apartment in the 28100 block of
Highridge Road. There was no sign of forced entry.
September 19
Grand Theft, Auto (nighttime) - A male suspect stole a 1990
Cadillac Deville from a driveway in the 30000 block of Avenida
Tranquilla.
Grand Theft, Auto (nighttime) - A 1994 Honda Prelude was
stolen from the 1800 block of Jaybrook Drive.
September 20
Other Structure Burglary (overnight) - Person(s) unknown
removed louvered window panes and entered a Synagogue in the
5700 block of Crestridge Road. U.S. currency was stolen.
Vehicle Burglary (daytime) - Person(s) unknown broke a window
of a vehicle in the 7000 block of Los Verdes Drive and stole
a woman's purse.
Vehicle Burglary (daytime) - Two male suspects broke the
window of a car in the 3200 block of La Rotunda Drive and
stole a man's wallet. The suspects fled in a gray two door
vehicle.
