Crimes reported this past week in the City of Rancho Palos

Verdes included three other structure burglaries, one grand

theft, three petty thefts, and five acts of vandalism.

Other Structure Burglary (overnight) - Person(s) unknown

pried a door to gain entry to a church in the 26200 block of

Silver Spur Road. Nothing appeared to have been taken.

Grand Theft - The victim reported that between January and

August, 1997, person(s) unknown stole two doors from a home

in the 27800 block of Hawthorne Boulevard. There was no sign

of forced entry.

Other Structure Burglary - The victim reported that between

June and August, 1997, person(s) unknown stole a set of golf

clubs from a garage of a home in the 28800 block of Golden

Meadow Drive. Entry was gained through an unlocked door.

Other Structure Burglary (overnight) - Person(s) unknown

stole a bicycle from a detached garage in the 1800 block of

Caddington Drive. Entry was gained by prying the door.
