CRIME SUMMARY

 

Crimes reported this past week in the City of Rancho Palos

Verdes included one other structure burglary, one vehicle

burglary, one attempted vehicle burglary, one grand theft,

auto, one petty theft, and twenty acts of vandalism.

 

 

ARRESTS

 

Vehicle Laws - 4

 

 

August 10

 

Grand Theft, Auto (overnight) - A 1994 Isuzu Rodeo was stolen

from a parking lot in the 29600 block of Western Avenue.

 

August 11

 

Vehicle Burglary (overnight) - Person(s) unknown broke the

window of a van in the 7200 block of Berryhill Drive and

stole a set of golf clubs.

 

August 12

 

Attempted Vehicle Burglary (nighttime) - Two male suspects

attempted to enter a cargo van in the 28700 block of Mount

Shasta Drive. The suspects were scared off as the alarm

sounded when they opened the door of the cargo van.

 

Other Structure Burglary - The victim reported that in July,

1997, person(s) unknown stole a bicycle from his unlocked

garage in the 2800 block of Calle Aventura.
