CRIME SUMMARY

 
Crimes reported this past week in the City of Rancho Palos

Verdes included two residential burglaries, eleven vehicle

burglaries, one other structure burglary, one felonious

assault, one grand theft, auto, and five acts of vandalism.

July 14
 

Vehicle Burglary (nighttime) - Person(s) unknown broke a
window of a car in the 4900 block of Blackhorse Road and
stole a man's wallet.
 

Residential Burglary (nighttime) - Person(s) unknown stole a
"BB" gun from a home on Narcissa Drive. Entry was made
through an unlocked door.

July 15

Vehicle Burglary (nighttime) - Person(s) unknown broke a
window of a pickup in the 26900 block of Springcreek Road and
stole a man's wallet, a cellular phone and a pager.

Vehicle Burglary (nighttime) - Person(s) unknown broke a
window of a car in the 7000 block of Los Verdes Drive and
stole a man's wallet, and numerous items of clothing.
 
Other Structure Burglary - The victim reported that numerous
items had been stolen from his unattached garage in the 4100
block of Exultant Drive. Entry was made through an unlocked
door.
 
July 17
 
Felonious Assault (nighttime) - Two female suspects were
arrested for assaulting a female victim with an ashtray and
for being intoxicated in public in the 28900 block of Western
Avenue.
 
Vehicle Burglary (overnight) - Person(s) unknown stole a
cellular phone and two pagers from a vehicle in a parking lot
in the 3200 block of La Rotunda Drive. Entry was made by
breaking a window.
 
Vehicle Burglary (overnight) - Person(s) unknown stole four
guitars from a vehicle in the 27900 block of Pontevedra
Drive. Entry was made by forcing open a tailgate of a camper
shell.
 
Vehicle Burglary (nighttime) - Person(s) unknown stole a
briefcase and a cellular phone from a vehicle in a parking
structure in the 3200 block of La Rotunda Drive. Entry was
made by prying a window open.
 
Vehicle Burglary (overnight) - Person(s) unknown stole a car
stereo from a car in a parking structure in the 3200 block of
La Rotunda Drive. Entry was made by prying a window open.

 
Vehicle Burglary (overnight) - Person(s) unknown stole a
man's wallet, sunglasses, and a cellular phone from a car in
a parking structure in the 3200 block of La Rotunda Drive.
There was no sign of forced entry.

 
Vehicle Burglary (nighttime) - Person(s) unknown pried a
window of a car in the 2000 block of Santa Rena Drive. The
suspects moved the car a short distance but nothing appeared
to have been taken.

 
Vehicle Burglary (overnight) - Person(s) unknown stole a rear
view mirror from a vehicle in the 30600 block of Rue
Langlois. There was no sign of forced entry.

 
Grand Theft, Auto (nighttime) - A 1987 Toyota pickup was
stolen from the 6500 block of Sandypoint Court.

 
Vehicle Burglary (overnight) - Person(s) unknown stole a CD
changer from a car in the 30300 block of Via Rivera. There
was no sign of forced entry.

 
July 18

 
Residential Burglary - The victim reported that person(s)
unknown stole jewelry from her residence in the 28000 block
of San Nicholas Drive. There was no sign of forced entry.
