CRIME SUMMARY
Crimes reported this past week in the City of Rancho Palos
Verdes included two residential burglaries, one school
burglary, three vehicle burglaries, one grand theft, auto,
one grand theft, two thefts of U.S. mail, and two acts of
vandalism.

April 27
Residential Burglary - A male suspect took a suit, compact
discs, and a car from a residence in the 6700 block of Los
Verdes Drive.
Vehicle Burglary (daytime) - Person(s) unknown broke a window
to enter a car parked in the street on Intrepid Drive and
stole a backpack and a tote bag.
Vehicle Burglary (daytime) - The window of a vehicle parked
in the 3200 block of La Rotunda Drive was shattered and U.S.
currency, a pager, a car stereo, and compact discs were
stolen.
April 28
Residential Burglary - A stereo was stolen from an apartment
in the 32700 block of Seagate Drive by person(s) unknown.
There was no sign of forced entry.
April 29
Grand Theft, Auto (overnight) - A 1980 Mercedes was stolen
from a driveway in the 1900 block of Homeworth Drive.
School Burglary (overnight) - Person(s) unknown removed a
window to gain entrance to a kitchen at a closed school in
the 28900 block of Northbay Road. A case of wine
was stolen.
Grand Theft (daytime) - A camera and equipment were stolen
from a unlocked car in a church parking lot in the 5800 block
of Palos Verdes Drive South.
May 3
Vehicle Burglary (nighttime) - Person(s) unknown broke a
window to gain entrance to a car in the 1800 block of
Peninsula Verde and stole compact discs, and the face plate
to a CD player.
