CRIME SUMMARY

Crimes reported this past week in the City of Rancho Palos Verdes

included one armed robbery, one residential burglary, one vehicle

burglary, three other structure burglaries, one grand theft, auto, one

petty theft, one theft of U.S. Mail, and one act of vandalism.

ARRESTS

Vehicle Laws - 3 Drunk Driving - 1

March 23

Other Structure Burglary (nighttime) - Person(s) unknown stole two

bicycles, roller blades, and other equipment from a parking garage in

the 5700 block of Ravenspur Road.

March 24

Other Structure Burglary - A motor scooter and a bicycle were stolen

from a subterranean garage in the 3200 block of La Rotunda by person(s)

unknown.

Residential Burglary (daytime) - Person(s) unknown broke a window of a

residence in the 1900 block of Galerita Drive. A steel safe containing

firearms and U.S. currency were stolen.

March 26

Other Structure Burglary (overnight) - The metal door of a warehouse in

the 6600 block of Palos Verdes Drive South was pried open by person(s)

unknown. It was unknown at the time of this report if anything was

stolen.

March 28

Armed Robbery (daytime) - Two armed male suspects handed notes

demanding money to two female tellers at Bay Cities National Bank in

the 28900 block of Western Avenue. The suspects ran out the south door

of the bank and out of sight. U.S. currency was obtained.

Grand Theft, Auto (daytime) - A 1988 Toyota pickup truck was stolen

from a driveway in the 2100 block of Fairhill Drive.

mail at the curb and promptly remove mail from mailboxes.

the sheriff's office upon suspicion. Know your Neighborhood
