SUMMARY CRIME
Crimes reported this past week in the City of Rancho Palos Verdes
included three residential burglaries, two vehicle burglaries, four
grand thefts, auto, one grand theft, one petty theft and one act of
vandalism.

January 19
Grand Theft, Auto - A 1992 Chevrolet was stolen from a driveway in the
1900 block of Velez Drive.
Residential Burglary (daytime) - Person(s) unknown entered a residence
in the 5400 block of White Fox Drive by breaking the lock on a kitchen
window and stole several pieces of jewelry.
January 20
Grand Theft - Approximately one hundred shopping carts were stolen from
racks outside Lucky's Market in the 28500 block of
Western Avenue.
January 21
Grand Theft, Auto (nighttime) - A 1996 Lexus was stolen from a driveway
in the 6900 block of Crest Road.
Grand Theft, Auto (daytime) - A 1996 Toyota was stolen from a driveway
on Santa Barbara Drive.
January 22
Grand Theft, Auto (nighttime) - A 1993 Lexus was stolen from a
subterranean garage in the 28100 block of Peacock
Ridge Road.
Vehicle Burglary (nighttime) - Person(s) unknown smashed the driver's
side window of a car parked in the street in the 28400 block of
Coveridge Drive. A cellular telephone was stolen.
Residential Burglary (nighttime) - A briefcase containing personal
items was stolen from a car parked in a garage in the 6500 block of
Nancy Road. The garage was locked and entry was apparently gained by
using an opener by person(s) unknown.
Vehicle Burglary (nighttime) - The radios from two cars parked in an
underground garage in the 3200 block of La Rotunda Drive were stolen by
person(s) unknown. There were no signs of forced
entry to either car.
January 24
Residential Burglary (nighttime) - Marble tiles were stolen from a home
being remodeled in the 32500 block of Seacliff Drive by person(s)
unknown. A padlock was cut to provide entry.

mail at the curb and promptly remove mail from mailboxes.
