CRIME SUMMARY
Crimes reported this past week in the City of Rancho Palos Verdes
included three residential burglaries, five vehicle burglaries, one
grand theft, auto, one grand theft and three acts
of vandalism.
ARRESTS
Spousal Assault - 1
January 6
Vehicle Burglary - Person (s) unknown stole a cellular telephone from a
vehicle parked on the street in the 30300 block of Kingsridge Drive.
There was no sign of forced entry.
Residential Burglary - Jewelry was stolen from a residence in the 28100
block of Ridgepoint Court by person(s) unknown. There were no signs of
forced entry.
January 7
Vehicle Burglary (daytime) - Stereo equipment was stolen from a car
parked on Silver Spur Road by person(s) unknown. Entry was gained by
breaking the passenger side window.
Grand Theft, Auto (nighttime) - A 1996 Lexus was stolen from a driveway
in the 29000 block of Covecrest Drive.
Vehicle Burglary (daytime) - Person(s) unknown smashed the window of a
truck parked on Silver Spur Road. Nothing was reported
missing.
Vehicle Burglary (daytime) - A motorhome parked in a driveway on
Mustang Road was broken into by person(s) unknown. Stolen were a
laptop computer, a television set, and a CD player. Entry was gained
by prying open the side entry door.
Residential Burglary - Personal items were stolen from a residence in
the 1900 block of Jaybrook Drive by person (s) unknown. There was no
sign of forced entry.
January 8
Residential Burglary - Residents in the 2800 block of Colt Road
returned after the house had been fumigated to find that cameras,
jewelry, electronic equipment, and a suitcase had been stolen by
person(s) unknown.
January 9
Vehicle Burglary (nighttime) - Person(s) unknown removed the face plate
for a stereo from a car parked in the street on Avenida Corona. A rear
window was smashed in the burglary.
Grand Theft - Laker game tickets were stolen from a residence in the
5300 block of Valley View Road by person(s) unknown.

mail at the curb and promptly remove mail from mailboxes.
