CRIME SUMMARY
Crimes reported this past week in the City of Rancho Palos Verdes included
two commercial burglaries, one residential burglary, one vehicle burglary, one felonious assault, two grand thefts auto, two grand thefts, one mail theft, and five acts of vandalism.

October 26
Commercial Burglary (daytime) - A male suspect was arrested after stealing
items from a supermarket in the 28500 block of Western Avenue.
Felonious Assault (nighttime) - A male suspect was arrested after punching
and kicking a male victim in a business in the 28900 block of Western Avenue.
October 27
Grand Theft - A victim reported that between October 6th and October 22nd,
person(s) unknown stole jewelry from her home in the 4900 block of Blackhorse Road. There was no sign of forced entry.
Grand Theft - A victim reported that between October 24th and October 27th,
person(s) unknown stole jewelry from her home in the 7000 block of Starstone Drive. There was no sign of forced entry.
October 28
Commercial Burglary (daytime) - Two female suspects and a male suspect were
arrested after stealing alcoholic beverages from a supermarket in the 28500 block of Western Avenue.
October 29
Vehicle Burglary (daytime) - Two male suspects broke a window and stole a
woman's purse from a car in a parking lot in the 29300 block of Hawthorne Boulevard. The suspects fled in a blue car.
Residential Burglary (daytime) - Person(s) unknown stole jewelry from a home
in the 4300 block of Via Frascati. Entry was gained through an unlocked door.
October 31
Grand Theft Auto (overnight) - A 1983 Buick Regal was stolen from a driveway
of a home in the 1800 block of Peninsula Verde Drive.
Grand Theft Auto (overnight) - A 1989 Chevrolet Blazer was stolen from a
carport in the 6600 block of Beachview Drive.
