CRIME SUMMARY

Crimes reported this past week in the City of Rancho Palos Verdes included

five residential burglaries, one vehicle burglary, three

grand thefts, and one petty theft.

August 31

Residential Burglary (daytime) - Person(s) unknown pried a

sliding glass door open and stole jewelry from a home in the

28600 block of Seamount Drive.

Residential Burglary (daytime) - Person(s) unknown climbed in

an open window and stole jewelry from a home in the 6400

block of Via Colinita.

Grand Theft (overnight) - Person(s) unknown stole a cellular

phone and eyeglasses from a female victim's purse in a

vehicle on Avenida De Camelia.

September 1

Residential Burglary (daytime) - A male suspect stole a

toolbox from the open garage of a home in the 2000 block of

Crestwood Street.

Residential Burglary (daytime) - Person(s) unknown stole a

bicycle from the open garage of a home in the 1700 block of

Byerton Court.

Grand Theft (daytime) - The victim reported that person(s)

unknown stole jewelry from a home in the 28500 block of

Cedarbluff Drive. There was no sign of forced entry.

 

September 2

Grand Theft (daytime) - Person(s) unknown stole a video

camera from a front lawn in the 5400 block of Bayridge Road.

September 3

Residential Burglary (daytime) - Person(s) unknown stole golf

equipment from an open garage in the 6500 block of Verde

Ridge Road.

Vehicle Burglary (daytime) - Person(s) unknown broke a window

and stole a cellular phone from a pickup in a parking lot in

the 5900 block of Palos Verdes Drive South.
