CRIME SUMMARY

 

Crimes reported this past week in the City of Rancho Palos Verdes included

two residential

burglaries, one vehicle burglary, one grand theft auto, two grand thefts,

five petty thefts, and four

acts of vandalism.

August 9

 

Grand Theft (daytime) - Person(s) unknown stole golf equipment from the

trunk of an unlocked

car parked in the 7000 block of Los Verdes Drive.

 

August 11

 

Grand Theft (daytime) - A male suspect stole a bicycle from a parking stall

in the 5900 block of

Peacock Ridge Road.

 

August 12

 

Grand Theft Auto (overnight) - A 1993 Honda Prelude was stolen from the 6700

block of Kings

Harbor Drive.

Residential Burglary (daytime) - Person(s) unknown climbed in an open second

story window

and entered a home in the 28800 block of Indian Valley Road. It was unknown

if anything was

stolen at the time of this report.

 

August 13

 

Vehicle Burglary (daytime) - Person(s) unknown smashed two windows of a car

in the 30000

block of Hawthorne Boulevard and stole a cellular phone.

 

August 14

 

Residential Burglary (daytime) - Person(s) unknown forced open a window

screen of a home in

the 1800 block of Peninsula Verde Drive and stole numerous items.
