CRIME SUMMARY

 

Crimes reported this past week in the City of Rancho Palos

Verdes included five residential burglaries, one school

burglary, two grand thefts, auto, two petty thefts, and

three acts of vandalism.

 

 

ARRESTS

 

Burglary - 1

 

 

July 12

 

Grand Theft, Auto (daytime) - A 1988 Chevrolet pickup was

stolen from the 1900 block of Delasonde Drive.

 

Residential Burglary (daytime) - Person(s) unknown stole U.S.

currency from a home on Oceanaire Drive. There was no sign

of forced entry.

 

July 13

 

Residential Burglary - The victim reported that between July

1 and July 12, 1998, person(s) unknown stole golf equipment

from the garage of her home in the 1800 block of Caddington

Drive. There was no sign of forced entry.

 

July 14

 

Grand Theft, Auto (overnight) - A 1998 Acura Integra was

stolen from a driveway in the 30500 block of Camino Porvenir.

 

July 16

 

School Burglary - Person(s) unknown broke through a wall of a

room at a school in the 28000 block of Montereina Drive and

stole numerous tools.

 

July 18

 

Residential Burglary (overnight) - Person(s) unknown stole a

women's purse from an unlocked car in an open garage on

Saddle Road.

 

Residential Burglary (daytime) - Person(s) unknown stole

carpet from a home in the 6400 block of Le Blanc Place.

There was no sign of forced entry.

 

Residential Burglary (nighttime) - A male suspect broke a

window to gain entry to a home in the 2000 block of Dorado

Drive. The suspect was chased and detained by the resident

until deputies arrived.
