CRIME SUMMARY

 

Crimes reported this past week in the City of Rancho Palos

Verdes included two residential burglaries, one school

burglary, one vehicle burglary, one attempted grand theft,

auto, two grand thefts, two petty thefts, one mail theft, and

two acts of vandalism.

 

 

ARRESTS

 

Vehicle Laws - 2 Spousal Assault - 1

 

 

June 22

 

Grand Theft (nighttime) - Person(s) unknown stole a ring from

a home in the 5700 block of Ravenspur Drive. There was no

sign of forced entry.

 

Residential Burglary (daytime) - A male suspect entered a

home through an open door and assaulted a female victim in

the 6400 block of Le Blanc Place.

 

June 24

 

Grand Theft (nighttime) - Person(s) unknown stole a car

stereo from an unlocked car in the 28500 block of Vista

Madera Drive.

 

Attempted Grand Theft, Auto (overnight) - Person(s) unknown

damaged a steering wheel and a steering column in an attempt

to steal a pickup in the 1300 block of Mount Rainier Road.

 

June 25

 

School Burglary (overnight) - Person(s) unknown entered a

room at a school in the 280000 block of Montereina Drive and

attempted to pry open a door to the auditorium area.

 

June 26

 

Residential Burglary (daytime) - Person(s) unknown entered a

home on Vanderlip road through an open door and stole a

handgun, a watch, and U.S. currency.

 

 

June 28

 

Vehicle Burglary (overnight) - Person(s) unknown stole an

ashtray and attempted to steal a car radio from a car in a

parking structure in the 5700 block of Ravenspur Drive.

There was no sign of forced entry.
