CRIME SUMMARY

 

Crimes reported this past week in the City of Rancho Palos

Verdes included one residential burglary, one attempted

residential burglary, two other structure burglaries, two

grand thefts, three petty thefts, and two acts of vandalism.

 

 

ARRESTS

 

Vehicle Laws - 1 Spousal Assault - 1

 

 

June 17

 

Attempted Residential Burglary - The victim reported that

between June 14 and June 17, 1998, person(s) unknown removed

a window screen in an attempt to enter a home in the 6200

block of Monero Drive. Vehicle parts were stolen from a car

parked by the side of the house.

 

Other Structure Burglary (daytime) - Person(s) unknown

removed two padlocks and stole two guitars from a storage

shed in the 1900 block of Trudie Drive.

 

June 18

 

Grand Theft (daytime) - The victim reported that on June 11,

1998, person(s) unknown stole jewelry from her home in the

4900 block of De La Croix Road. There was no sign of forced

entry.

 

Residential Burglary (overnight) - Person(s) unknown stole

two cellular phones from two unlocked cars in an unlocked

garage in the 6000 block of Monte Malaga Drive.

 

June 19

 

Grand Theft (daytime) - Person(s) unknown stole gardening

equipment from a truck in the 30700 block of Ganado Drive.

 

June 20

 

Other Structure Burglary (Nighttime) - Person(s) unknown

broke a lock and entered a storage shed in the 1900 block of

Trudie Drive. It was unknown at the time of this report if

anything was taken.

 

Arson (nighttime) - Two male suspects burned a curtain and

vandalized a vacant home in the 4900 block of Rockvalley

Road.
