CRIME SUMMARY

 

Crimes reported this past week in the City of Rancho Palos

Verdes included one strong-armed robbery, two commercial

burglaries, two residential burglaries, seven vehicle

burglaries, one other structure burglary, one felonious

assault, two grand thefts, auto, one petty theft, one mail

theft, and two acts of vandalism.

 

 

ARRESTS

 

Vehicle Laws - 4 Spousal Assault - 1

 

 

June 7

 

Grand Theft, Auto (daytime) - A male suspect was arrested for

driving a stolen car in the 31200 block of Palos Verdes Drive

West.

 

June 8

 

Commercial Burglary (overnight) - Person(s) unknown stole two

hand held radios from an office in the 6700 block of Los

Verdes Drive. There was no sign of forced entry.

 

Commercial Burglary (daytime) - A male suspect ran out of a

store in Miraleste Plaza without paying for cartons of

cigarettes. The suspect entered a waiting white vehicle and

fled.

 

Residential Burglary (daytime) - Person(s) unknown stole

jewelry from a home in the 4900 block of Delacroix Road.

There was no sign of forced entry.

 

June 9

 

Strong-armed Robbery (daytime) - A male suspect used physical

force to steal jewelry and a video camera from a male victim

as the victim entered his home in the 32500 block of Searaven

Drive.

 

June 11

 

Vehicle Burglary (overnight) - Person(s) unknown broke a

window and stole a cellular phone and a briefcase from a car

in a driveway on Via Capri.

 

Vehicle Burglary (overnight) - Person(s) unknown broke a

window and stole a cellular phone from a car in a driveway in

the 29000 block of Covecrest Drive.

 

Vehicle Burglary (overnight) - Person(s) unknown broke a

window and stole a cellular phone and a briefcase from a car

in a driveway in the 30900 block of Rue Langlois.

 

Vehicle Burglary (overnight) - Person(s) unknown broke a

window and stole a cellular phone and camera equipment from a

car in the 30500 block of Ganado Drive.

 

Vehicle Burglary (overnight) - Person(s) unknown broke a

window and stole a cellular phone from a car in the 2100

block of Gaucho Drive.

 

Vehicle Burglary (overnight) - Person(s) unknown broke the

windows of two cars in a driveway in the 28700 block of Mount

Rose Road and stole two cellular phones.

 

Vehicle Burglary (overnight) - Person(s) unknown broke a

window and stole bag containing numerous items from a car in

the 30700 block of Via Rivera.

 

Other Structure Burglary (overnight) - person(s) unknown

stole two saws and two televisions from a storage shed of a

home in the 6400 block of Via De Anzar.

 

June 12

 

Residential Burglary (daytime) - Person(s) unknown entered a

home in the 26800 block of Indian Peak Road through a rear

window and stole jewelry.

 

June 13

 

Grand Theft, Auto (nighttime) - A 1982 Cadillac El Dorado was

stolen from the 2000 block of Redondela Drive.

 

Felonious Assault (daytime) - A male suspect in a green Jeep

Wrangler purposely rammed a female victim's car as she was

driving in the 31000 block of Palos Verdes Drive West.
