CRIME SUMMARY

 

Crimes reported this past week in the City of Rancho Palos

Verdes included one residential burglary, one vehicle

burglary, two other structure burglaries, two felonious

assaults, two grand thefts, auto, one attempted grand theft,

auto, one grand theft, and two acts of vandalism.

 

 

ARRESTS

 

Vehicle Laws - 3 Drunk Driving - 3

Spousal Assault - 2

 

 

March 30

 

Grand Theft (overnight) - Person(s) unknown forced a gate

open and stole numerous items from a store in the 28900 block

of Western Avenue.

 

Residential Burglary (overnight) - Person(s) unknown stole

bank books from a condominium in the 6500 block of Oceancrest

Drive. There was no sign of forced entry.

 

Attempted Grand Theft, Auto (daytime) - Two male suspects

removed the cover in an attempt to steal a motorcycle in a

carport in the 6700 block of Los Verdes Drive. The suspects

were scared away by a security guard.

 

March 31

 

Felonious Assault (morning) - A male suspect punched and

kicked a male victim at a home in the 30000 block of Avenida

Classica.

 

Felonious Assault (daytime) - Two male suspects threw

numerous rocks at a couple and their small child in a parking

lot in the 29200 block of Western Avenue.

 

Grand Theft, Auto (daytime) - Two male suspects stole a

motorcycle from a carport in the 6700 block of Los Verdes

Drive. The suspects put the motorcycle into a black van and

drove away.

 

 

April 1

 

Grand Theft, Auto (overnight) - A 1991 Jeep Wrangler was

stolen from the 28500 block of Montereina drive.

 

April 3

 

Other Structure Burglary (overnight) - Person(s) unknown

stole a bicycle from a detached garage of a home in the 30000

block of Via Borica. There was no sign of forced entry.

 

Other structure Burglary (overnight) - Person(s) unknown

stole food and clothing from an unlocked detached garage in

the 30000 block of Via Borica.

 

April 4

 

Vehicle Burglary (overnight) - Person(s) unknown stole tools

and golf equipment from a locked car in a garage in the 32600

block of Coastsite Drive. There was no sign of forced entry.
