Crimes reported this past week in the City of Rancho Palos

Verdes included one residential burglary, one attempted

residential burglary, one felonious assault, one grand theft,

auto, one grand theft, one petty theft, and six acts of

vandalism.

December 28

 

Grand Theft - Person(s) unknown stole the tailgate of a truck

in the 2100 block of MacArthur Street.

 

December 30

 

Grand Theft, Auto (overnight) - A 1996 Acura Integra was

stolen from the 6600 block of Abbottswood Drive.

 

January 1

 

Felonious Assault (nighttime) - A male suspect was arrested

after purposely running his vehicle into a car containing two

male victims at Caddington Drive and Western Avenue.

 

Attempted Residential Burglary (overnight) - Person(s)

unknown damaged a doorlock in an attempt to enter a home in

the 26600 block of Whitehorn Drive.

 

January 2

 

Residential Burglary (evening) - Person(s) stole U.S.

currency and coins from a home in the 30200 block of

Kingsridge Drive. There was no sign of forced entry.
