CRIME SUMMARY
Crimes reported this past week in the City of Rancho Palos Verdes included one armed robbery, one commercial burglary, three vehicle burglaries, two grand thefts (auto), two grand thefts, one petty theft and two acts of vandalism.
ARRESTS
Vehicle Laws - 2
December 14
Commercial Burglary (daytime) - An employee and an accomplice stole numerous power tools from a store in the 28900 block of Western Avenue. The incident occurred during business hours.
December 15
Grand Theft - A victim reported that between December 10th and December 12th, person(s) unknown stole a briefcase and a laptop computer from an unlocked car in a driveway in the 3200 block of Deluna Drive.
December 17
Vehicle Burglary (overnight) - Person(s) unknown stole numerous CD'S from a locked vehicle in the 28700 block of Golden Meadow Drive. There was no sign of forced entry.
Grand Theft (auto) (overnight) - A 1991 Toyota Camry was stolen from the 28400 block of Rothrock Drive.
Grand Theft (auto) (overnight) - A 1985 Nissan pickup was stolen from the 28700 block of Cedarbluff Drive.
Armed Robbery (daytime) - Two male suspects, one armed with a handgun, stole numerous items from a female victim in the 4200 block of Stalwart Drive. Both suspects fled on foot and possibly entered a gray car a short distance away.
Vehicle Burglary (overnight) - Person(s) unknown pried a door open and stole numerous items from a vehicle in the 6900 block of Starstone Drive.
Vehicle Burglary (overnight) - Person(s) unknown broke a window and stole numerous items from a car in the 7000 block of Willowtree Drive.
Grand Theft - A victim reported that between December 10th and December 15th, person(s) unknown stole tapestries from a garage of a home under construction on Via Del Cielo Drive.
