CRIME SUMMARY

Crimes reported this past week in the City of Rancho Palos Verdes included one commercial burglary, two residential burglaries, four vehicle burglaries, one other structure burglary, one felonious assault, one grand theft (auto), one attempt grand theft (auto), three grand thefts and one act of vandalism.

November 28

Other Structure Burglary (overnight) - Person(s) unknown stole numerous items from an unlocked detached garage of a home in the 5800 block of Ironwood Street.

November 29

Vehicle Burglary (overnight) - Person(s) unknown broke a window and stole numerous items from a car in an underground garage in the 28100 block of Peacock Ridge Drive.

Attempt Grand Theft (auto) (overnight) - Person(s) unknown damaged a steering column of a locked vehicle in an attempt to steal the vehicle from an underground garage in the 28100 block of Peacock Ridge Road.

November 30

Vehicle Burglary (overnight) - Person(s) unknown broke a window and stole numerous items from a car in a driveway in the 1800 block of Peninsula Verde Drive.

December 1

Vehicle Burglary (daytime) - Person(s) unknown stole numerous items from a locked car on Clipper Road. There was no sign of forced entry.

Grand Theft (auto) (overnight) - A 1990 GMC van was stolen from the 1900 block of Trudie Drive.

December 2

Residential Burglary (daytime) - Person(s) unknown stole a laptop computer from a home in the 6400 block of Monero Drive. There was no sign of forced entry.

Residential Burglary (daytime) - Person(s0 unknown broke a sliding glass door and stole U.S. currency from a home in the 29200 block of Indian Valley Road.

December 3

Vehicle Burglary (daytime) - Person(s) unknown broke a window and stole numerous items from a car in a parking lot of a park in the 30300 block of Hawthorne Boulevard.

Felonious Assault (nighttime) - A male victim was struck on the head by a bottle by members of a group of male suspects during an altercation in the 1800 block of Jaybrook Drive.

December 4

Commercial Burglary (overnight) - Person(s) unknown pried a door open and stole a safe containing U.S. currency from a business in the 28900 block of Western Avenue.

Grand Theft - A victim reported that between November 22nd and November 28th, person(s) unknown stole a saddle from a tack room at a business on Narcissa Drive

Grand Theft (daytime) - Person(s) unknown stole numerous car parts from a car in a parking lot in the 30000 block of Hawthorne Boulevard.

Grand Theft (nighttime) - Person(s) unknown stole numerous car parts from a vehicle in the 2800 block of Colt Road.
