CRIME SUMMARY

Crimes reported this past week in the City of Rancho Palos Verdes included two residential burglaries, one vehicle burglary, one grand theft auto, three petty thefts and two acts of vandalism.

Residential Burglary - A victim reports that between August 5th and August 6th, person(s) unknown stole a cellular phone from her unlocked car in a parking garage in the 28100 block of Peacock Ridge Road.

August 25

Vehicle Burglary (overnight) - Person(s) unknown stole numerous items from the victim's two cars in a carport in the 28100 block of Highridge Road. There was no sign of forced entry.

August 28

Grand Theft Auto (morning) - A 1998 Ford Expedition was stolen from a parking lot in the 28900 block of Western Avenue.

Residential Burglary (morning) - Person(s) unknown stole a handgun from a home in the 6500 block of Ocean Crest Drive. There was no sign of forced entry.
