CRIME SUMMARY
Crimes reported this past week in the City of Rancho Palos Verdes included three commercial burglaries, one felonious assault, one grand theft auto, one petty theft, one mail theft, one act of arson, and two acts of vandalism.

August 8
Felonious Assault (nighttime) - Three male suspects were arrested after striking three victims with baseball bats during an altercation in a parking lot in the 29600 block of Western Avenue.
August 10
Grand Theft Auto (overnight) - A 1963 Volkswagon Bug was stolen from a driveway in the 32400 block of Conqueror Drive.
August 11
Commercial Burglary (nighttime) - A male suspect broke a window and entered a business in the 29100 block of Western Avenue. It was unknown at the time of this report if anything was taken.
Commercial Burglary (nighttime) - Person(s) unknown pried a door open and ransacked a business in the 29500 block of Western Avenue. It was unknown at the time of this report if anything was taken.
Commercial Burglary (daytime) - A female suspect was arrested after stealing numerous items from a supermarket in the 28500 block of Western Avenue.
August 14
Arson (daytime) - Person(s) unknown started a fire in an elevator of a complex in the 5700 block of Ravenspur Drive
