Crimes reported this past week in the City of Rancho Palos Verdes included three residential burglaries, one attempt vehicle burglary, three grand theft autos, three petty thefts and four acts of vandalism.

Residential Burglary (overnight) - Person(s) unknown stole numerous items from an unlocked vehicle in an open attached garage in the 28600 block of Enrose Avenue.
August 2
Attempt Vehicle Burglary (overnight) - Person(s) unknown attempted to pry open the window of a car in the 1700 block of Kingsdown Court.
August 3
Grand Theft Auto (morning) - A 1987 Chevrolet Capri was stolen from the 28500 block of Montereina Drive.
Residential Burglary - A victim reports that between the dates of July 8th and July 29th, 1999, person(s) unknown stole U.S. currency from a home in the 28100 block of Peacock Ridge. There was no sign of forced entry
August 4
Grand Theft Auto (nighttime) - A 1991 Honda Accord was stolen ffrom a parking lot in the 700 block of Los Verdes Drive.
August 5
Other Structure Burglary (overnight) - Person(s) unknown stole numerous items from a vehicle in an unlocked garage in the 3100 block of Crownview Drive.
Residential Burglary (daytime) - Person(s) unknown smashed the sliding glass window of a home in the 30800 block of Rue Valois and stole jewelry.
August 6
Grand Theft Auto - A 1998 Paugh FLSC motorcycle was stolen from a parking lot in the 28900 block of Western Avenue.
