Crimes reported this past week in the City of Rancho Palos Verdes included one residential burglary, one felonious assault, one grand theft auto, one grand theft, one petty theft, one mail theft, and six acts of vandalism.

Felonious Assault (nighttime) - A male motorist threatened another male motorist with a handgun as they were driving near Armaga Springs Road and Via Porto Grande. The suspect then fled in an unknown direction in a dark green car..
July 19
Residential Burglary (daytime) - A female suspect entered a home in the 29500 block of Quailwood through a rear unlocked sliding glass door, as a female victim did yard work in the front of the house. The suspect was scared off by another victim inside the home.
July 22
Grand Theft (overnight) - Person(s) unknown stole gardening equipment from the bed of a pickup in a driveway of a home in the 6600 block of Palos Verdes Drive South.
July 24
Grand Theft Auto (nighttime) - A 1990 Buick Regal was stolen from a parking lot in the 29600 block of Western Avenue.
