CRIME SUMMARY

Crimes reported this past week in the City of Rancho Palos Verdes included three vehicle burglaries, one attempted vehicle burglary, one spousal assault, two grand theft autos, four petty thefts and four acts of vandalism.

ARRESTS

Vehicle Laws – 5; Drunk - 1

June 29

Vehicle Burglary (overnight) - Person(s) unknown smashed the window to a car in a carport in the 28100 block of Highridge Road and stole tools.

Attempted Vehicle Burglary (overnight) - Person(s) unknown attempted to pry open the car door and trunk of one vehicle and also the van door of another vehicle in the a garage in the 5700 block of Ravenspur Drive.

Vehicle Burglary (overnight) - Person(s) unknown smashed the window of a car in the 5700 block of Ravenspur Drive and stole numerous items.

Vehicle Burglary (overnight) - Person(s) unknown stole numerous items from a van in the 28100 block of Highridge Road.

July 1

Grand Theft Auto (overnight) - A 1968 Mercedes 280 SL was stolen from the 5700 block of Ravenspur Road.

July 3

Grand Theft Auto (morning) - A 1987 Toyota pick up truck was stolen from the 2200 block of Rue Le Charlene.
