CRIME SUMMARY
Crimes reported this past week in the City of Rancho Palos Verdes included one commercial burglary, two residential burglaries, one vehicle burglary, two other structure burglaries, three petty thefts, one act of arson, and three acts of vandalism.

April 12
Vehicle Burglary (overnight) - Person(s) unknown broke a window and ransacked a truck in a parking in the 6500 block of Beachview Drive. Nothing appeared to have been taken.
Other Structure Burglary (daytime) - Person(s) unknown stole numerous items from an open detached garage of a home in the 26400 block of Silver Spur Road.
April 13
Arson (nighttime) - Person(s) unknown set a fire in a recycling bin at a condominium complex in the 32800 block of Seagate Drive.
April 14
Commercial Burglary - A male employee was arrested after stealing items from the business he worked for in 28900 block of Western Avenue.
April 17
Residential Burglary (daytime) - A male suspect entered an open garage of a home in the 26900 block of Whitestone Road and attempted to steal a bicycle. The suspect was scared away when the resident came out of his home.
Other Structure Burglary (overnight) - Person(s) unknown broke a pad lock of a storage shed at a school in the 29300 block of Palos Verdes Drive East and threw the contents around the area. Nothing appeared to have been taken.
Residential Burglary (overnight) - Person(s) unknown stole a bicycle from an open garage of a home in the 6700 block of Monero Drive.
