CRIME SUMMARY
Crimes reported this past week in the City of Rancho Palos Verdes included
one armed robbery, two vehicle burglaries, one grand theft auto, and one grand theft.
ARRESTS
Vehicle Laws - 2
April 4
Vehicle Burglary (overnight) - Person(s) unknown broke a window and stole
numerous items from a car in a driveway in the 29600 block of Stonecrest Road.
Vehicle Burglary (daytime) - Person(s) unknown stole numerous items from a
car in a parking lot in the 28900 block of Western Avenue. There was no sign of forced entry.
April 9
Grand Theft Auto (overnight) - A 1996 Honda Accord was stolen from a
driveway in the 3100 block of Barkentine Road.
Armed Robbery (daytime) - Two male suspects, armed with handguns, stole U.S.
currency from a bank in the 28900 block of Western Avenue and fled in a maroon van. The van was found abandoned in a parking lot a short time later.
April 10
Grand Theft (daytime) - Person(s) unknown stole a purse from an open garage
of a home in the 5200 block of Sunnypoint Place.
