CRIME SUMMARY
Crimes reported this past week in the City of Rancho Palos Verdes included
two residential burglaries, one attempted residential burglary, one school burglary, one vehicle burglary, two grand theft autos, one grand theft, one petty theft, one mail theft, one attempted mail theft, and six acts of vandalism.

February 28
Residential Burglary (daytime) - Person(s) unknown pried a door open and
stole numerous items from a home in the 5000 block of Blackhorse Drive.
March 1
Vehicle Burglary (nighttime) - A male suspect stole U.S. currency from a
locked car in a driveway in the 28600 block of Mount Palomar Place. The suspect, upon being seen by the victim, fled in a waiting dark colored Honda. There was no sign of forced entry to the vehicle.
Grand Theft Auto (overnight) - A 1984 Oldsmobile Cutlass was stolen from an
Underground garage in the 5700 block of Ravenspur Drive.
Grand Theft Auto (overnight) - A 1987 Toyota Cressida was stolen from the
3500 block of Starline Drive..
Residential Burglary - A victim reported that between August, 1998 and
February 15, 1999, person(s) unknown stole golf equipment from an open garage of a home in the 29100 block of Indian Valley Drive.
Grand Theft - A victim reported that between February 28 and March 1, 1999,
person(s)unknown stole a toolbox from a parking garage in the 5700 block of Ravenspur Drive.
March 4
Attempted Residential Burglary (daytime) - Person(s) unknown attempted to
pry the rear sliding glass door of a home in the 2600 block of Sunnyridge Road.
School Burglary (nighttime) - Person(s) unknown broke a window and entered
an office of a school in the 30800 block of Palos Verdes Drive East. The suspect had stacked up several items but nothing appeared to have been taken.
