CRIME SUMMARY
Crimes reported this past week in the City of Rancho Palos Verdes included
one commercial burglary, two residential burglaries, one attempted residential burglary, four vehicle burglaries, one grand theft, one mail theft, and four acts of vandalism.
ARRESTS

February 14
Commercial Burglary (daytime) - A male suspect and a female entered a supermarket in the 28500 block of Western Avenue and attempted to use a bogus check to pay for items. Both suspects ran from the store when questioned about the check and fled in a maroon van.
Vehicle Burglary (daytime) - A male suspect broke a window and stole
numerous items from a
car in a parking lot of a park in the 1700 block of Westmont Avenue.
Vehicle Burglary (daytime) - Person(s) broke a window and stole a cellular phone from a car on Oceanaire Drive.
February 15
Attempted Residential Burglary (daytime) - Person(s) unknown damaged four
windows and a door in an attempt to enter a home in the 1800 block of MacArthur Drive.
February 17
Vehicle Burglary (overnight) - Person(s) unknown stole a speaker box from a
locked van in a car port in the 5700 block of Ravenspur Road.
February 18
Vehicle Burglary (daytime) - A male suspect was arrested after breaking a
window of a vehicle in the 26700 block of Silver Spur Road and stealing numerous items.
Residential Burglary (nighttime) - Person(s) unknown entered a home in the
30300 block of Via Victoria through an unlocked door and stole a stereo system.
Residential Burglary (nighttime) - Person(s) unknown pried the door of a
home in the 1100 block of Bloomwood Road and stole jewelry.
February 19
Grand Theft (daytime) - A male suspect stole an air compressor from the
garage of a home on Mustang Road.
