CRIME SUMMARY
Crimes reported this past week in the City of Rolling Hills Estates
included one residential burglary, three vehicle burglaries, one other
structure burglary, two grand theft autos, one grand theft, one felonious assault, and two petty thefts.
ARRESTS
Drunk Driving - 1, Vehicle Laws - 4
February 7
Other Structure Burglary (overnight) - Person(s) unknown stole numerous items from an unlocked vehicle in a detached garage of a home in the 6500 block of Via Lorenzo.
February 8
Grand Theft Auto (overnight) - A 1987 Cadillac was stolen from a parking structure in the 32800 block of Seagate Drive.
Grand Theft Auto (nighttime) - A 1986 Chevrolet El Camino was stolen from the 2100 block of Van Karajan Drive.
Vehicle Burglary (overnight) - Person(s) unknown pried a door open and
stole a car stereo from a car in a parking structure in the 32700 block
of Coastsite Drive.
Vehicle Burglary (daytime) - Person(s) unknown broke a window and stole a
purse from a car in the parking lot of a park at Westmont Drive and Western
Avenue.
Felonious Assault (daytime) - Two female suspects punched and kicked a female victim as she walked through the pool area of a condominium complex in the 28300 block of Ridgehaven Court.
February 9
Grand Theft - A victim reported that between August, 1998 and February 7, 1999, person(s) unknown stole jewelry from a home in the 30400 block of Via Cambron. There was no sign of forced entry.
Residential Burglary (daytime) - Person(s) unknown removed a window screen, climbed in a window, and ransacked a home in the 26700 block of Shadowwood Drive. It was unknown at the time of this report if anything was taken.
February 11
Vehicle Burglary (daytime) - Person(s) unknown broke a window and
stole a car stereo from a car at Silver Spur Road and Elkmont Drive.
