Crimes reported this past week in the City of Rancho Palos Verdes included

one attempted armed robbery, one grand theft, two petty thefts, one mail theft, and five acts of vandalism.

Spousal Assault - 1.

January 17

Grand Theft (overnight) - Person(s) unknown stole a briefcase from a

driveway in the 26500 block of Basswood Avenue.

January 20

Attempted Armed Robbery (Daytime) - Two male suspects, one with a hand gun,

entered a bank in the 28900 block of Western Avenue and demanded U.S. currency. Suspects were scared off when one customer ran out of the bank.
