January 10
Vehicle Burglary (daytime) - Person(s) unknown smashed the window of a car
in a parking lot in the 28800 block of Western Avenue and stole numerous items.
Attempted Vehicle Burglary (daytime) - Three male suspects were arrested
when they were observed attempting to break into two vehicles in a parking lot in the 31500 block of Palos Verdes Drive West.
January 11
Residential Burglary - A victim reports that between the dates of January
8th and January 11th, person(s) unknown stole several items from a home in the 29600 block of Western Avenue. There were no signs of forced entry.
Residential Burglary - A victim reports that on the date of January 9th,
person(s) unknown stole a cellular phone from their home in the 2100 block of Trudie Drive. Entry was gained through an unlocked door.
January 14
Grand Theft Auto (overnight) - A 1989 BMW was stolen from the 28000 block of
Peacock Ridge.
January 16
Commercial Burglary (daytime) - A male suspect used counterfeit U.S. currency to purchase an item from a store in the 28000 block of Hawthorne Boulevard.
