Crimes reported this past week in the City of Rancho Palos Verdes included
one armed robbery, one residential burglary, six vehicle burglaries, one petty theft, two mail thefts and one act of vandalism.

Vehicle Burglary (overnight) - Person(s) unknown broke a window and stole a
woman's purse from a car in a driveway in the 28800 block of Crestridge Road.
Vehicle Burglary (overnight) - Person(s) unknown stole a car stereo and CD's
from a car in the 1900 block of Jaybrook Drive. Entry was apparently gained through an open sunroof.
August 28
Vehicle Burglary (daytime) - Person(s) unknown broke a door lock and
attempted to steal a car stereo from a pickup in a parking lot in the 28900 block of Western Avenue.
Augus30
Armed Robbery (nighttime) - Three male suspects, armed with handguns, stole
jewelry, U.S. currency, and other items from six victims at a home in the 28800 block of Doverridge Drive.
Vehicle Burglary (nighttime) - Person(s) unknown broke a window and stole
computer equipment from a car in a parking lot in the 7000 block of Los Verdes Drive.
Vehicle Burglary (daytime) - Person(s) unknown broke a window and stole a
backpack from a car in a parking lot in the 29300 block of Palos Verdes Drive East.
Residential Burglary (daytime) - Person(s) unknown entered a home through an
unlocked door of a home on Mustang Road and stole a television.
Vehicle Burglary (overnight) - Person(s) unknown reached in a partially open
window, unlocked the door, and stole numerous items from a vehicle in the 6700 block of Via Canada.
