Crimes reported this past week in the City of Rancho Palos Verdes included one armed robbery, one attempt armed robbery, two residential burglaries, two vehicle burglaries, three grand thefts and four acts of vandalism.

Grand Theft (daytime) - Person(s) unknown stole two statues from a home in the 7000 block of Crest Road. There was no sign of forced entry.
October 9
Armed Robbery (nighttime) - Two masked suspects, armed with handguns, assaulted a female victim and stole her wallet as she was exiting her car in a driveway in the 4300 block of Exultant Drive.
Attempt Armed Robbery (nighttime) - Two masked suspects, armed with handguns, assaulted a male victim and attempted to rob him as he was exiting his car in a driveway in the 7000 block of Starstone Drive.
Vehicle Burglary (overnight) - Person(s) unknown broke a window and stole a video camera from a vehicle in a driveway in the 3200 block of Deluna Drive
October 10
Grand Theft - A victim reported that on October 5th, person(s) unknown stole a laptop computer from an office in the 28600 block of Western Avenue. There was no sign of forced entry.
October 11
Vehicle Burglary (nighttime) - Person(s) unknown broke a window and stole a woman's purse from a car in a parking lot in the 28900 block of Western Avenue.
Residential Burglary (daytime) - Person(s) unknown stole a garage door opener from an unlocked car in the garage of a home in the 7000 block of Willowtree Drive.
Residential Burglary (daytime) - Person(s) unknown forced a window open and stole two watches from a home in the 5700 block of Ravenspur Drive.
October 14
Grand Theft (overnight) - Person(s) unknown stole a bicycle from the parking area of a complex in the 6500 block of Oceancrest Drive.
