CRIME SUMMARY

Crimes reported this past week in the City of Rancho Palos Verdes included one armed robbery, two commercial burglaries, one school burglary, one vehicle burglary, one grand theft and six acts of vandalism.

October 1

Vehicle Burglary (nighttime) - Person(s) unknown broke a window and stole numerous items from a car in a parking lot in the 5900 block of Armaga Springs Road.

October 5

Armed Robbery (nighttime) - Two masked suspects, armed with handguns, stole numerous items from two victims as they were exiting their car in the driveway of their home on Nuvola Court.

School Burglary (overnight) - Person(s) unknown stole a computer and a printer from a classroom of a school in the 28900 block of Northbay Road. Entry was gained through a rooftop hatch.

October 6

Grand Theft (daytime) - Person(s) unknown stole golf equipment from outside an office at a golf course in the 7000 block of Los Verdes Drive.

October 7

Commercial Burglary (nighttime) - A male suspect stole beer from a supermarket in the 30000 block of Hawthorne Boulevard. The suspect fled in a white car driven by another suspect.

Commercial Burglary (nighttime) - A male suspect used a scam to steal U.S.

currency from an employee of a business in the 27700 block of Hawthorne Boulevard.
