Crimes reported this past week in the City of Rancho Palos Verdes included one attempt commercial burglary, three residential burglaries, one vehicle burglary, one attempt other structure burglary, two grand thefts, two petty thefts and four acts of vandalism.

Attempt Commercial Burglary (overnight) - Person(s) unknown cut a screen and attempted to pry a window of an office open at a school in the 30800 block of Palos Verdes Drive East.

Residential Burglary (daytime) - Person(s) unknown stole two scooters from an open garage of a home in the 6300 block of Via Colinita.

September 5

Residential Burglary - A victim reported that between September 3rd - 5th, person(s) unknown stole numerous tools from a home in the 3300 block of Palo Vista. Entry was gained through an open window on the second floor.

Grand Theft - A victim reported that between September 2nd - 5th, person(s) unknown stole numerous tools from a construction site in the 3200 block of De Luna Drive.

Residential Burglary (daytime) - Person(s) unknown removed a screen, climbed in a window, and stole jewelry and a guitar from a home in the 7300 block of Via Marie Celeste.

Grand Theft - A victim reported that between September 1st - 5th, person(s) unknown stole numerous tools from a construction site in the 30000 block of Cachan Place.

September 7

Attempt Other Structure Burglary (daytime) - A male suspect attempted to kick in a door of a detached garage of a home in the 6500 block of Via Siena.

September 9

Vehicle Burglary (overnight) - Person(s) unknown stole numerous items from a locked pickup on Avenida Corona. There was no sign of forced entry.
