CRIME SUMMARY

Crimes reported this past week in the City of Rancho Palos Verdes included one residential burglary, two school burglaries, three grand thefts (auto), three grand thefts, two petty thefts and two acts of vandalism.

August 28

Grand Theft (auto) - A victim reported that between August 24th - 28th, a 1994 GMC Suburban was stolen from the 2400 block of Rue Le Charlene.

Grand Theft (auto) (daytime) - A 1968 Chevrolet Chevelle was stolen from the 28100 block of Highridge Road.

August 30

Grand Theft (auto) (overnight) - A 1986 Mazda 323 was stolen from the 27500 block of Hawthorne Boulevard.

Grand Theft - A victim reported that between July 10th - August 29th, person(s) unknown stole jewelry from her apartment in the 6600 block of Beachview Drive.

September 1

Grand Theft (daytime) - A male suspect stole tools from a garage of a home in the 27600 block of Tarrasa Drive. The suspect fled in a small gray car.

School Burglary (overnight) - Person(s) unknown stole electronic equipment from the auditorium of a school in the 5500 block of Ironwood Street.

September 2

Grand Theft (overnight) - Person(s) unknown stole electronic equipment from an unlocked van in the 3500 block of Newridge Drive.

Residential Burglary (overnight) - Person(s) unknown forced a door open and stole tools from the garage of a home on Amber Sky Drive.

School Burglary (overnight) - Person(s) unknown broke a window and stole numerous items from a building of a school in the 30800 block of Palos Verdes Drive East.
