CRIME SUMMARY
Crimes reported this past week in the City of Rancho Palos Verdes included one commercial burglary, three residential burglaries, two other structure burglaries, one petty theft, two mail thefts and two acts of vandalism.

August 15
Residential Burglary (daytime) - Person(s) unknown pried a window open and entered a home in the 3300 block of Deluna Drive. Nothing appeared to have been taken.
Residential Burglary - A victim reported that between August 3rd - August 9th, person(s) unknown ransacked a bedroom and stole numerous items from her home in the 2000 block of General Street. There was no sign of forced entry.
August 16
Other Structure Burglary (overnight) - Person(s) unknown cut a chain link fence and stole numerous items from an open garage of a home under construction in the 3400 block of Newridge Drive.
Other Structure Burglary (overnight) - Person(s) unknown stole numerous items from a home under construction in the 2900 block of Vista Del Mar. There was no sign of forced entry.
Residential Burglary (overnight) - Person(s) unknown entered an unlocked door and stole a camera and a camcorder from a home in the 30400 block of Ganado Drive.
August 18
Commercial Burglary (nighttime) - Person(s) unknown broke a glass door and entered a store in the 28600 block of Western Avenue. It was unknown at the time of this report if anything was taken.
